Intro & New Features

CCM has produced new protective gear at the recreational level in 2023. The new CCM "Next" line is designed to be a reliable, durable and protective line of hockey gear at the recreational level. The Next line is built to be lightweight and keep players cool and dry on the ice, while still providing players with protection from impacts.

Construction

The youth Next shin pads feature a lightweight shell design with it's durable plastic shell, keeping force away and player protected. These pads provide great mobility for players, allowing for more natural movements. These are reliable and provide functional protection with a light feel which is ideal for young recreational players.

Knee Cap & Protection

The kneecaps are built with PE plastic caps, which is a durable built that is designed to keep force away from the knee, helping players from injuries. This construction is a must-have protection for the kneecaps, in order to keep players at their best while being protected on the ice.

Calf Protection

The floating calf guard is made of PE foam, keeping the pad lightweight and still providing a high-level of protection. The plastic insert is made to provide an additional level of protection from impacts, helping prevent any injuries that may occur. The design is built to shape and wrap around the calf, offering a snug and comfortable fit.

Liner

CCM used a sublimated base liner on the inside of these shin guards. This liner provides players with comfortability, but also is designed to keep you dry and cool while skating around on the ice. The inside also features a comfort knee pad which helps lock the knee in place, brace it and keep it protected from all impacts.
