Building upon the foundation of TRUE’s original TF line, the new HZRDUS 2023 hockey skate line showcases an enhanced shell stiffness and meticulous design to offer a seamless blend of power, responsiveness, and mastery over your skating stride. The 7X is constructed for power and stability with a lot of features of the highest price point, including Neurofit and a CARV toe cap.
Skate Fit Profile
The HZRDUS 7X Intermediate skate is available in 4-6.5 Full and Half sizes in Regular and Wide fits.
Boot Construction & Stiffness Profile
The TRUE HZRDUS X7 skate showcases a substantially stiffer shell compared to its predecessor, amplifying its potential for power and control. The incorporation of Neurofit technology improves on the one-piece carbon fibre shell construction, enhancing the skates’ thermoformability and direct energy transfer to optimize your stride efficiency. The skate's redesigned standard tendon guard elevates its response capabilities, imparting greater agility and precision to your movements on the ice.
Liner & Internal Padding
The premium microfibre liner enhances both comfort and performance and ensures a soft and snug fit, reducing friction and irritation during play. With its moisture-wicking properties, the liner keeps the foot dry and comfortable, contributing to an improved on-ice experience for players of all levels.
Lacing System
The skate employs a traditional yet effective lacing system, featuring standard eyelets that allow you to fine-tune the fit and tension according to your preference. Steel/Runner/Profile/Blade Holder
The skate features TRUE’s cutting-edge Shift Max holder, an elite skate holder known for its exceptional design that significantly reduces weight by 40g. Additionally, the holder incorporates BenchChange Technology, providing players with the convenience to quickly switch out runners when needed, offering adaptability on the fly. Complementing this technology is the Shift Max custom blade, meticulously crafted by TRUE and constructed with durable stainless steel, further enhancing the skate's performance and overall value.
Toe Cap
The CARV toe cap debuted in TRUE’s CAT9 skate, and the innovative design continues to be employed in the HZRDUS series. This toe cap boasts sharper edges, a streamlined aesthetic, and lighter construction, all strategically engineered to facilitate rapid transitions and seamless execution of tight turns. By harnessing these enhancements, the skate offers players increased agility and responsiveness on the ice, enhancing their overall performance during play.
Graphics
The skates take the HZRDUS aesthetic, with a primarily black colouration coupled with silver and orange accents and the HZRDUS logo visible in various sections. The 7X has more black in the heel section than the 9X.
